Sunday Feb 1st. You're encouraged to join the Running Room Run Club for your run. They leave promptly at 8:30 from the store. Routes and distances depend on who shows up.

After your run, or around 10:00, please head over to Gonga's (in the strip mall next to the store) to meet, warm up, get something to eat... Laura (West) Bewick will be there, so look out for her!

Nickel City Triathlon Team is heading into it's fourth year and we've got some exciting and innovative ideas to talk about.

We're having our Registration and Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, February 10th at 8pm. We'll meet in the Ben Avery building, on the couches in front of the Ken Bahnuk Lounge.

There are many things we need to discuss, including:
club finances
coaching
group workout schedule - off season and in season practices
team gatherings
possible Sudbury race
website/blog
team gear
youth program

Please come with a pen and your cheque book to register and provide feedback to shape the coming year's activities.

If you can't make it and would like to join, send me an email by February 6th and I'll forward this year's enrollment form to you.

The rumors are true! NCTT will be holding our first ever Splash-&-Dash event.

- WHAT: 1km Splash / 5km Dash
- WHO: EVERYBODY - NCTT, FRIENDS, FAMILY, ANYBODY!!!

This will be a fantastic chance for everyone to get together, race each other, and have a little social time too! Plus, the youth team will be making a cameo appearance as well. 'Tri' your best to make it! Let's show this town that we have an ideal setting for a BIG race. Hope to see everyone there. Let's go NCTT!

It was a good day for Time Trials
Fourteen Riders and 5 volunteers came out and put on a great performance and congratulations on great results. Check website www.nickelcitytri.com and www.sudburycc.ca for photo.

Thanks to volunteers Hussien W. Roy H, Wayne G. and Bill S. The course was well marshaled. Not much we could do about the tractor with the hay bailer but riders did a great job passing him safely and 10 of 11 riders remembered the corner just after 5km.

The next time trial practice on July 16 will be at *Valley View School* and start at 7pm. Arrive at least by 6:30 to register and warm up. First Rider will leave at 7pm sharp.

With 4 volunteers (two from NCTT & 2 from SCC) there will be a 10 & 20km TT.
Volunteers Needed!!

Reminder the time trials are on at 7pm in front of Valley View School on Valley View Road in Val Caron. Encourage a good turn out for this 10 or 20km time trial practice.

Sorry for the late notice but I think the change in venue for tomorrow's Time Trial will please you. A flat straight course .
